Calibration and Metrology Team Gives Back to Grace Place
Volunteer PTO Team

Seven members of the Calibration and Metrology team recently used their volunteer paid time off (PTO) hours to support Grace Place in Naples. Grace Place provides opportunities to help families out of poverty through education of children and families.

The team members volunteered at the Grace Place Food Pantry, which serves more than 2,500 Southwest Florida families each year.

“It was so nice to see our team work in unison in a different setting than we are accustomed to,” said Metrologist Robert Romeo. “I am so thankful to [Calibration and Metrology Manager] Krishna Gopal for organizing this for our team.”

The team assisted receiving shipments of food, organizing and then handing out supplies to families in need. Some of the team also worked the book station, handing out coloring books and magazines to some of the younger children.

“We are so grateful to Arthrex for providing this opportunity to serve our community,” Robert said. “It was a hard day’s work in the hot sun, but everyone left with smiles on our faces.”

Arthrex’s Volunteer PTO benefit allows all employees eight hours of paid time off to volunteer one day a year. If your nonprofit organization could benefit from group volunteer work, please contact Corporate Meetings & Events Manager Selene Reyna at Selene.Reyna@arthrex.com.
