When thinking about Arthrex’s global headquarters expansion several years ago, President and Founder Reinhold Schmieding designed the campus with the idea that it would accommodate large groups of people, including members of the Southwest Florida community.
With the opening of the Arthrex One facility, Arthrex now has event space to accommodate community groups. Since the opening in 2020, Arthrex has hosted everything from Opera Naples galas and Leadership Collier graduations to community medical education presentations.
Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Leadership Programs Amanda Pearson said the Chamber has hosted several events at Arthrex and it is “a premiere experience.”
“The environment is everything you could desire, from beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, massive screens for showing visuals, beautiful lighting and sound, and exceptional service and food,” she said. “I thank Arthrex tremendously for being such an invaluable community partner and am already planning my next event there.”
Meeting and Events Director Selene Reyna said the team’s job is to help plan and manage the event for the client.
“They have ideas and we execute the details,” she said. “Meetings and Events is the liaison between the client and all of the Arthrex teams needed for the event. It’s our job to help them enjoy the evening while we execute the planning.”
Opera Naples Executive Director Sondra Quinn said her team chose to host its fundraising gala event at Arthrex in fall 2020 initially because Arthrex has an outdoor space and many of their patrons wanted to attend something outdoors during COVID. However, after the first event, the group quickly made the decision to host it again at Arthrex.
“They were great hosts. Everything felt comfortable, and that started from the time we walked into the door,” she said. “It was so much fun and it was more successful than we could have hoped. I had phone calls and emails all day from attendees telling me how wonderful everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event.”
