How do you impact our mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better® in your role?
As a Suture Quality team member, my team is responsible for ensuring Arthrex’s final suture products and processes consistently meet the company’s required standards. By ensuring the quality of Arthrex’s products, surgeons are able to have the best products that are safe and effective in treating their patients.
What inspires you the most at Arthrex?
I am most inspired by the variety of opportunities Arthrex offers its employees. I don’t know any other company that offers its employees the many benefits we have.
Additionally, I am inspired by the fact that Arthrex is a family-owned company and intends to stay that way. Lastly, it’s inspiring to know our products have the ability to directly impact someone’s life and make it better.
What is your favorite success story at Arthrex?
There are so many success stories at Arthrex that I have a hard time choosing one; however, my two favorites were working with my manager Senior Quality Assurance Manager Selome Spurlock to organize the 2021 Quality Fair and being able to help fellow Southwest Floridians recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Ian in 2022.
How do you describe the Arthrex culture?
The Arthrex culture is like a big family where everybody has different opportunities to be successful. It is very nice how Arthrex encourages teamwork through team building and family activities. I am very grateful and happy to be part of the Arthrex family.
Our core value is Making People Better. How has Arthrex made you better?
Since I joined Arthrex, I’ve had several opportunities to grow professionally and personally. Arthrex believes in my capabilities, not only as a hard-working and responsible employee, but as someone who can face different challenges, do more and go further than I think I can. I have been promoted in the Suture field, which makes me proud of myself and excited to keep working hard to expand my knowledge and skills.
