Arthrex Engineering Highlighted Among Career Dreams for Children in Florida Weekly Feature on Pathways Early Education Center

Florida Weekly recently published a feature story on Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, highlighting what children in the program want to be when they grow up. Among the classic responses - police officer, firefighter, doctor, zookeeper and more - one young girl set her sights on the future of innovation.

Eleanor was featured in the article in a photograph taken by local commercial photographer Brian Tietz, dressed in a lab coat and Arthrex name badge and set in a lab. Her career of choice? Arthrex engineer.

“The unique opportunity, called the Brighter Futures photo project, was provided by the Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, which recognizes the vital role of early childhood education in shaping young minds, equipping them with the skills and confidence to reach their full potential,” according to the article.

“The organization’s mission is to nurture future generations by meeting their essential needs for current well-being and long-term success. This commitment was pursued through the Brighter Futures photo project, which demonstrates that a single image can speak volumes.”

Future engineer Eleanor was selected among a group of her fellow prekindergarten-aged children to take part in the campaign. The photographs were showcased at the center’s annual “Star Light, Star Bright” gala, which raised $1 million.
