Arthrex Hosts Students for Junior Achievement Job Shadow Program

On Friday, January 13, 2012, Arthrex hosted 14 high school students from the Guadalupe Center in Immokalee as part of Junior Achievement’s Job Shadow Program. The program is designed to introduce students to the workplace and the various career opportunities available. It also exposes students to the requirements of various professions and industries, and the skills that will make them valuable assets to future employers.

As part of our community involvement and commitment to education, Arthrex was pleased to participate in the program. During their visit, the students were introduced to five different departments within the company: Marketing Communications, Research and Development, Product Management, Manufacturing and Customer Service. Each department provided the students with job-specific information, career advice, hands-on interactions and tours, and question and answer sessions.
