Arthrex is pleased to announce the launch of a new collaboration between OrthoPedia and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), an international professional organization made up of more than 5,000 health care professionals (HCPs) who are committed to improving patient outcomes by advancing the field of minimally-invasive orthopedic surgery.
OrthoPedia Patient offers high-quality videos and animations covering a comprehensive range of topics such as rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, ACL tears and ankle sprains. With patient-friendly language and visuals, OrthoPedia Patient is designed to help patients better understand their conditions and treatment options.
Through OrthoPedia Stream, AANA is now featuring those same trusted, peer-reviewed OrthoPedia Patient videos directly on its website, giving members easy access to patient education content that can improve communication, support practice efficiency and elevate the patient experience.
According to Director of Medical Education Technology Andrew Claassen, each video embedded on AANA’s website leverages a custom Search Engine Optimization/Answer Engine Optimization (SEO/AEO) toolkit, designed to reinforce OrthoPedia as the original source of content. The “For Patients” tab on the AANA website also includes a branded “Powered by OrthoPedia Patient” footer with a direct link to Arthrex’s revolutionary patient-focused platform.
