For the past 23 years, the Franklin Templeton Shark Shootout hosted by Greg Norman, has been one of the most unique tournaments on the PGA Tour. Dr. Paul Hobaica with the Arthrex Medical Center, has served as the medical director of the event for the past 12 years, coordinating all EMS/fire detail and providing medical care to the players, family and staff at the event.
This year, Arthrex supported the tournament by sponsoring the Arthrex Family Golf Clinic taking place on December 9, 2011. This venue provided a great opportunity to promote Arthrex's exclusive sponsorship and support of The First Tee Naples/Collier, a youth development program that uses the sport of golf to teach students life skills. The Arthrex Family Golf Clinic featured Greg Norman speaking with the crowd, education about The First Tee Naples/Collier program, a golf trick shot show, and hands on golf instruction for kids by local PGA teaching professionals.
