Arthrex faculty surgeon Kevin Martin, DO (Columbus, OH), and Arthrex Athlete Melayna Prindle were recently featured in an article by Ohio State University, highlighting Dr. Martin’s expertise and Melayna’s remarkable recovery journey.
After a devastating ankle injury threatened her Irish dance career, Melayna turned to Dr. Martin, determined to return to the active life she once knew. Using the InternalBrace™ procedure and two DX Knotless FiberTak® soft suture anchors, Dr. Martin helped Melayna return to competition in just seven weeks.
“After my surgery, I accomplished things I never thought I could. It gave me a better mindset. And so, I did genuinely perform better,” Melayna shared in the article.
She went on to win her sixth team world title and is now focused on her other passion—running.
