Southwest Florida’s ABC affiliate Gulf Coast ABC recently got a behind-the-scenes look at Arthrex’s first-ever Vet Systems community event, kicking off the 2025 Orthopedic Patient Education Seminar (OPES) series. The event welcomed pet owners and animal lovers to Arthrex global headquarters in Naples, where they had the unique opportunity to learn about cutting-edge veterinary treatment options.
“We got to show a different side of Arthrex,” Corporate Engagement Manager Meg Hardt told Gulf Coast News. “With over 23,000 products here at Arthrex, it's special that several of them are able to be used for animals and to help veterinarians take care of their patients.”
For the first time, community members heard directly from our medical education experts in orthopedics and orthobiologics, who develop hundreds of products for treating both large and small animals, including dogs, cats, horses and more.
The event also supported Humane Society Naples and Shy Wolf Sanctuary with donation collections on-site. Humane Society Naples even brought their mobile adoption truck, giving shelter pets the chance to meet their future families.
