In the opening week of the 2024 NFL season, the first Monday night football game featured an exciting duel between New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, both making their respective comebacks with the help of Arthrex innovations.
Rodgers underwent an Achilles Midsubstance SpeedBridge™ procedure last year following an Achilles rupture during his debut with the Jets. Arthrex faculty surgeon Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed surgery on the four-time NFL MVP.
Keith Meister, MD, utilized the UCL InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation to repair Purdy’s elbow in his throwing arm last year, allowing the 49ers quarterback return to play 12 weeks after surgery.
