The Arthrex Synergy Power™ system has received the bronze award in the Surgical Robotics & Precision Therapy category at the 39th annual Edison Awards.
The Synergy Power system is a high-performance, battery-powered surgical solution engineered for versatility across a wide range of orthopedic procedures including sports medicine, arthroplasty, trauma and distal extremity procedures. Its compact, ergonomic design delivers reliable power, mobility, long-term durability, control and workflow efficiency to enhance surgical performance.
The Synergy Power system was designed, developed and is manufactured by Arthrex, enabling full control over performance, quality and continuous innovation. The system integrates proprietary design advancements including the intuitive twist collet mechanism on the drill for fast, secure attachment changes and the open hub sagittal saw design that enhances visualization and supports efficient cleaning and secure blade placement. The Synergy Power platform, which is manufactured at Arthrex’s manufacturing facility in Pendleton, South Carolina, delivers more power, more speed, less weight and faster battery charging times than competing systems, resulting in a high-performance system engineered with surgeons in mind.
“This recognition represents the dedication of our teams working seamlessly toward a shared goal,” said Senior Director of Resection and Fluid Management Michael Cottle. “Each group contributed essential expertise, and their collective efforts made this success possible. It stands as a testament to our unified approach and the powerful, versatile and reliable power system from Arthrex that is Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better®.”
