A groundbreaking technology developed by Arthrex has been selected as a finalist for the 2026 Edison Awards, one of the most prestigious honors recognizing excellence in innovation, human‑centered design, and new product development. The annual program highlights innovators from more than 60 countries whose work is shaping the future of their industries.
This year’s finalists include the Synergy Power™ system. The technologies expand Arthrex’s portfolio of products that are Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better®.

The Synergy Power system is assembled at Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. South Carolina (AMISC) in Pendleton, South Carolina.
Arthrex has been honored with multiple Edison Awards in recent years.
In 2021, Arthrex President and Founder Reinhold Schmieding received the distinguished Edison Achievement Award for his leadership in pioneering the field of arthroscopy and developing thousands of innovative surgical products and techniques.

Winners will be announced at the 39th annual Edison Awards gala on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Luminary Hotel and Caloosa Sound Convention Center in Fort Myers, Florida.
