Moorcroft Equine Rehabilitation Centre in West Sussex, England has shared groundbreaking results from a two-year study on high-potency Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment for horses with complex musculoskeletal issues.
The treatment uses a horse’s own blood, processed on-site with the Arthrex Angel® system, the only fully automated system that utilizes 3-sensor technology (3ST) and one-button automation to prepare customized PRP formulations.
The study, conducted in partnership with Advanced Biologics Research, showed over 83% of treated horses improved, with rapid pain relief and no adverse effects.
