Vote Today: Arthrex Reaches Final Round in Coolest Thing Made in Florida Competition

The Arthrex Syndesmosis TightRope® PRO implant has advanced to the final round in the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition, which recognizes products that exemplify innovation, manufacturing excellence and economic impact across the state.

Developed at Arthrex global headquarters in Naples, Florida and manufactured at Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. East in Ave Maria, Florida, the TightRope PRO implant is a next-generation solution for the treatment of high-ankle sprains with syndesmotic, or high ankle, injuries. The new system leverages the clinically proven knotless construct that has been trusted in the most demanding patients, including elite professional and collegiate athletes, and combines it with a low-profile implant. Hundreds of thousands of patients have been treated with Arthrex TightRope technology in recent years.

The TightRope PRO implant is the next evolution in the Arthrex mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better® and reflects the company's ongoing commitment to advancing orthopedic care through innovative medical technology.

The TightRope® PRO implant is one of two finalists competing for the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Florida title. The winner will be selected through statewide public voting.

As part of the competition, representatives from the Florida Chamber of Commerce will visit both finalists during National Manufacturing Week. Arthrex will also be recognized at the Future of Florida Forum on Oct. 28.
