Florida Trend’s January issue, featuring the 2026 Southwest Florida Economic Outlook, includes insights from Kevin Grieff, Arthrex Senior Vice President of Operations, on the state of manufacturing in the region.

“In the medical manufacturing sector, we see strong momentum — especially in the U.S., where domestic production continues to thrive,” Grieff said, noting that Arthrex’s long-standing commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing has positioned the company well for continued growth.

Grieff also addressed workforce development, highlighting Arthrex’s ongoing hiring efforts, collaboration with local universities and regional initiatives to help build a skilled workforce across Southwest Florida. Arthrex has three corporate locations in the region: global headquarters in Naples, Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. East in Ave Maria and the Arthrex Logistics Center in Fort Myers.
