Arthrex has been awarded the University of Florida's 2026 Career Influencer Award, recognizing the company’s collaboration with the university and a strong commitment to student career development, experiential learning and workforce readiness.
The award highlights Arthrex's longstanding collaboration with the university through internships, co-op opportunities, industry engagement and support for student organizations and academic programs.
"Arthrex has demonstrated a strong and sustained commitment to cultivating top Gator talent," said Angel Iverson, Director for Industry Relations and Workforce Pathways at the University of Florida.
According to the UF Career Connections Center, Arthrex actively supports student career preparation through career fairs, resume reviews, mock interviews and educational programming designed to help students transition successfully from the classroom to the workforce.
The company also provides hands-on learning opportunities through internships, co-ops, facility visits and sponsorship of academic initiatives, helping students gain practical experience while exploring careers in medical technology.
"More than 1,000 companies partner with UF, but it's Arthrex's intentionality and breadth of engagement that earned this prestigious award," Iverson said.
Arthrex supports a variety of University of Florida student organizations and programs, including the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), Freshman Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG), Dream Team Engineering, Successful Transition & Enhancement Prep for Undergraduates (STEPUP), Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) and GatorSLAM, a “Sales Leadership and Mentorship” experiential learning program.
The recognition reflects Arthrex's ongoing investment in developing future talent and creating opportunities for students to gain real-world experience while preparing for careers in healthcare innovation and medical technology.
