Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. South Carolina (AMISC) hosted its fifth annual Charitable Championship golf tournament on Saturday, May 31, raising more than $8,000 for Anderson Meals on Wheels, which will translate to nearly 1,200 hot meals delivered to homebound individuals across Anderson County.
Ninety-five employees participated in the scramble format tournament held at the Walker Course in Clemson, South Carolina.
“I hope everyone had as much fun as I did at this year’s event,” said Vice President of Manufacturing Andy Owen. “It was a beautiful day spent chasing the ball around while the fundraising total was adding up.”
“I would also like to thank the Walker Course for hosting us,” said Andy. “I’m already looking forward to next year.”
“The Charitable Championship is something I’ve looked forward to every year since I started with Arthrex four years ago,” said Senior IT Support Specialist Logan Pendergrass. “There was a huge turnout this year, which just goes to show how much AMISC is growing.
