Nearly 400 Arthrex employees and family members gathered at Fluor Field for Arthrex Family Night with the Greenville Drive, the High-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, celebrating the company culture that helps make Arthrex a leading employer in the Upstate.
The evening featured pregame activities for employees and their families, including opportunities to meet the Drive mascot, Reedy Rip'It, and enjoy family-friendly entertainment before taking in the game.
Several Arthrex team members participated in on-field ceremonies. Senior Cost Analyst Andrew Driver threw out the ceremonial first pitch, while Patrick Lollis, MD, from the Arthrex Medical Center team, delivered the traditional call of "Play ball!" Arthrex Logistics Manager Chuck Stephens and Supply Chain Manager Chase Canterbury also joined pregame activities as guest captains.
"It was a tremendous honor to represent Arthrex at this event," Driver said. "I was especially excited to see my two boys run out with the Drive players during the national anthem."
The event also featured a special in-game appearance by PowerHeal®, Arthrex's first direct-to-consumer product, as part of a fan-focused skit highlighting the product's role in wound care and recovery.
"It was fun spending time with coworkers and their families, enjoying the game and seeing the crowd get into the PowerHeal skit," said Arthrex Textile Training Supervisor Eunice Adams-El. "It was a great night and a nice reminder of what makes Arthrex so special."
Family Night is one of many opportunities for Arthrex employees to connect outside the workplace, strengthening relationships and fostering a culture that supports innovation, teamwork and the company's mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better®.
