Arthrex is proud to introduce its latest innovative solution for treating ankle fractures: the FibuLock PRO fibular nail.
FibuLock fibular nail technology is backed by years of literature and enhanced clinical outcomes, setting a new gold standard for the treatment of ankle fractures. The FibuLock nail is a load-sharing device that is inserted through a small incision to stabilize the fracture during healing. This minimally invasive technique reduces wound complications, preserves soft tissue and is indicative of lower overall complication rates,1 and the new FibuLock PRO nail builds off this technique.

Features of this improved solution include longer nails, headless cortical screws, expanded fixation options and modular instrumentation. Additionally, the new nail offers a way to obtain and maintain length intraoperatively. The FibuLock PRO Nail features novel proximal talons that open 12% wider than the first-generation FibuLock nail, providing stronger fixation and enhanced rotational control.
