Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. South Carolina (AMISC) recently raised nearly $10,000 for Anderson Interfaith Ministries (AIM) through its sixth annual Charitable Championship golf tournament, bringing employees together in support of programs that serve individuals and families across the Anderson County community.
A record 120 employees participated in this year's tournament at The Walker Course in Clemson, making it the largest Charitable Championship to date. Proceeds from the event will help AIM continue providing essential services, including food assistance, housing support and other community resources.
"It was such an honor for AIM to be selected as the recipient of the proceeds from this year's tournament," said Susan Anderson, AIM’s Vice President of Development. "We can't say thank you enough for your continued generosity and dedication to the work we do within the community."
In addition to raising funds, the tournament provided employees an opportunity to connect outside the workplace while contributing to a meaningful cause.
"This was my first time participating in the Charitable Championship," said Arthrex Senior Quality Assurance Validation Engineer Seth Patterson, who also won the closest-to-the-pin contest at the tournament. "It was a great opportunity to contribute to a good cause while bonding with coworkers outside of the plant."
The annual event reflects Arthrex's ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where employees live and work through volunteerism, charitable giving and community partnerships. By investing in local organizations like AIM, Arthrex furthers its mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better® while making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
