Arthrex recently partnered with Clemson University to deliver an immersive learning experience for students in the J. Daniel and Nancy Garrison Sales Innovation Program (SIP). Through the Representative Orthopedic Procedure Experience Simulator (ROPES) course, participants explored the dynamic field of medical device representation by engaging in a simulated surgical procedure using Arthrex innovations.
Following the hands-on training, students toured Arthrex’s Pendleton, South Carolina manufacturing facility, gaining insight into the advanced processes behind creating world-class orthopedic products.
This collaboration builds on Arthrex’s relationship with Clemson University through its externship program, which introduces students to the rewards and challenges of working in an operating room.
“This program gives students unique insight into a career they are still discovering that academia can only provide through partnerships like they have with Arthrex,” said Dennis O’Keefe, Arthrex Vice President of Communications.
Together, Arthrex and Clemson are shaping the future of medical device sales education—creating pathways for students to turn classroom knowledge into real-world impact.
