Arthrex Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters is located in Freiham near Munich, Germany, where Reinhold Schmieding founded Arthrex in 1981. Arthrex Germany includes more than 400 employees supporting strategic and operational business in Europe and Asia, as well as the ArthroLab™ Munich, a surgical skills training center for health care professionals.
Munich, in the Bavaria region of Germany, is known for its architecture, art and culture and is a hub for finance, engineering and research, with two esteemed research universities and several global companies nearby. Arthrex Germany also has a location in Odelzhausen for logistics operations.
